misfit today announced launch of "speedo shine," new activity tracker that's been designed in partnership speedo, company known swimwear , swimming accessories. misfit's other products, device tracks steps taken, various exercises, , sleep, able track swimming activity.

speedo shine waterproof , features proprietary lap counting algorithms measure laps taken when in pool. according misfit , speedo, lap tracking capabilities feature "industry-leading accuracy" , have been tested @ speedo's aqualab.

automate process , save me having count laps in head (28... 28... 28... 28... turn...29... 29.... <mind wanders>... hang on - 29 or 27?... 27... 27... 27....) :)
