500 gb Samsung 840 EVO firmware, rev D


when first installed unit in 2010 mbp last year did firmware update extocb6q. recall had download the samsung file, rename .iso file .dmg file , burn image on cd-rom. firmware updated no issues.

now, see firmware available go extodb6q version. update recommended? assume functionally same process, download, rename .dmg, burn, reboot optical drive?
 

did read documentation firmware update? should find list of fixes or improvements part of documentation.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
