hoping comparisons other users age/height/weight, because numbers seem super high. i'm male, 30 years old, 6'3", ~223 lbs, , calculates resting calories @ 3141!!! i've been calorie counting on year, , have had luck losing weight @ 0.5-1 lbs per week if stay under 1800 calories/day. i'm pretty sure if ate 3141 calories every day i'd gain ton of weight. bmr calculators (which think overestimate me) bmr around 2050-2200. 3141 ridiculous.
i'm wondering if calculation assumes "weight" lean body mass, when in actuality (for me , imagine other people) higher percentage of fat. rough estimate, think i'm around 25-30% body fat.
anyway, if close stats post thoughts, i'd appreciate it!
6'0", 193, 42 y/o male: 2731 resting calories.
seems high well. personal estimate close 2000 calories.
