Open-fan GPU or fan-blower GPU?


i got 5770 (flashed) 1,1 mac pro, , thing's fan seems worn out or something, it's extremely loud , sounds motor. under normal circumstances, expect these silent...

really? how 1 compared open-blade style gpu? we're talking 2009 gpu, note newest fan-blowers way quieter.

have option of getting either open-fan 5770 or fan-blower 5770. best?

open-fan design quiet enough, mac pro has great airflow; fan-blower more appropriate small, enclosed case--if i'm correct.

personally, prefer gpu coolers exhaust heat gpu out of mac pro. keep other components in mac pro cooler. beneficial have upgraded mac pros 130w cpus , lead mac pro's expansion slot fan ramp less , lower rpm.

when switch graphics cards 1 open fan type cooler 1 blower type, saw immediate reduction in temps on northbridge. i'm not sure other components (forgot take notice), believe shared same reductions in temps.
