Windows 10 connect to 10.10 file store


hi,

have 10.10.5 server running basic file sharing.

macs , win 7 clients can connect no problems. however, win 10 clients logging same credentials cannot connect share point.

if login administrator of server win 10, allows me connect or mapped network drive.

working fine last week, i'm starting wonder if win 10 updated , caused fail? have 3 machines running win 10 , fail connect. ("the specified network password not correct")

can confirm if able connect 10.10 file store windows 10?

hmmm... incompatibility regarding smb versions of os x 10.10.5 vs. windows 10.
iirc os x 10.9 added smb v2, , 10.10 smb v3, compatible windows 7-8

can windows 10 connect share using "older" smb protocol?

edit:
using windows 10 on parallels connecting \\name.of.server all works well.
server os x server 10.10.5, standard afp/smb config.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
