Charging Retina Macbook with USB A to USB C?


i know macbook can charged via backup battery can new retina macbook charged usb-a usb-c cable ps4 or usb?
 

i can confirm yes, work (as long it's idle or lid closed), extremely slow. under heavy load (i.e. taxing cpu of rmb), it's possible not charge battery @ all, continue power laptop; it's maintaining charge or powering laptop.

have charged on desktop, laptop (macbook air), haven't tested ps4 yet; assume work same way.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
