Notifications Have Changed

up until recently, when notifications (let's text message), raise wrist, , able read message. now, see large icon. have tap screen see message. happens notifications. how fix this? it's annoying. haven't changed on watch. running latest official software.

on iphone:

1. open apple watch app on iphone
2. tap 'notifications'
3. turn 'notification privacy' off

(when 'notification privacy' on, notification details appear when tap alert).
