External hard drive enclosure - fan control


hi all,


have external hard drive enclosure (thunderbay 4 mini) has it's own fan spins constantly, when computer sleeps or when eject enclosure.


ideas why might case? there way control power sent mac pro without pulling thunderbolt cable altogether? way spin down fan pull cable or turn off @ wall!

apparently model doesn't use variable speed fan, more hooked directly power meaning have no control on other if plugged in or not.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
