Windows only macbook pro 2015

hi,

purchasing new laptop , love new 15" macbook pro. home computer , work computers both pc because of software use daily. (revit) find aesthetically apple products far superior windows based laptops , desktops love have macbook pro , run windows on it.

have had few imac's in past love osx dont want have deal 2 o/s systems different programs, file managing , other annoyances come using 2 o/s daily, when 80% of time spent on work pc or home pc.

know can run bootcamp or vm use revit on macbook pro since never use osx prefer remove mac os , install windows 8.1 or windows 10 natively. have read many issues driver updates caused bootcamp , performance loss via use of vm's such parallels not want deal with, because revit extremely resource intense program, can not afford take performance loss or have driver issues.

research did't turn whole lot, few people have done mixed success, people suggest bootcamp has issues revit , graphic driver updates/compatibility , difficulties installing latest amd or nvida drivers directly windows.

research seems these questions questions seem come quite , answers never complete or scattered through various websites/forums , blogs. i'm hoping can come , create more comprehensive list of questions , answers relating other people similar questions can use point of reference.

update post best answers each question easier referencing, better reading through pages of posts find 1 answer looking for. if has further questions add please , can add post.

1. can remove osx , preform clean install of windows onto macbook/ macbook pro? if not what's stopping happening?

2. how trackpad/ force trackpad work in windows environment, via boot camp or native windows installation suggest above.

3. if bootcamp best option performance best practices using windows os primary working environment , leaving osx on small partition firmware updates.

4. how if of performance loss windows take using bootcamp?

5. how dpi scaling work retina screens, if lower resolution of 4k work monitor less sharp , has blur it. best practices running windows on retina display whilst retaining sharpness , avoiding blur?

  1. not sure windows-only installation options, but
  2. the trackpad works in windows, afaik not different on macbook pro other laptops. anyway, can adjust trackpad settings in windows, turning on 'touch clicking'.
  3. only thing can think of size of partition. want make windows part large possible. i'd recommend doing possible, possibly before installing os x first time.
  4. i'm not sure why there performance loss because of bootcamp. bootcamp helps facilitating, once started on windows, apple computer running windows. of course, drivers can have lot of influence on performance, on computer. drivers provided might not best situation might not case on machine either. personally, have impression windows has lot more overhead begin with. example, worked freshly installed windows laptop week , idling, still becomes warm fans turn on. apple can optimize overhead more because have half dozen models os has run on, instead of zillion combinations of drivers/hardware.
  5. i've installed windows 8.1 on rmbp 15' late 2013 , can i'd expected better way of handeling high resolutions. there no real fix, has come microsoft , others, wacom has driver panel doesn't scale high resolution screens @ all… unbelievable, considering company markets state of art hardware premium prices.
