Just Installed 850 Evo in MBP 2012

hi,
have installed 850 eve mbp. have been reading trim. should enable if how or programs use. have read 850 automatically enables trim. else should after installing ssd. replaced old hdd , put ssd, didn't reset anything. should reset pram or nvram?

i numbered questions ease of answering.
1. would. not doing should not harm anything. trim enabler works quite well.

2. whatever source gave wrong information. on apple laptop, if ssd not apple branded (as in, shipped machine, or removed machine shipped it) not have trim enabled default.

3. enjoy snappier hard drive.

4. can if want to, have absolutely no use or effect.
