MacPro 5,1 Radeon GPU driver issues.

hello all! first of appreciate , help/advice has offer. i'm not familiar mac besides basic operation. repair windows systems in spare time , co-worker gave me macpro 5,1 compensation repairing laptop. specs follows: macpro 5,1 intel(r) xeon(r) cpu w3565 @ 3.20ghz (8cpus), ~3.3ghz wth 8192mb ram, ati radeon hd 5870. excuse ignorance on explanation of issue here goes. when took on computer partitioned bootcamp , had 1 partition mac os lion , other partition windows 7 professional. windows partition full of viruses , hard drive full. never lion partition because co-worker couldn't remember login password since used windows partition. decided use bootcamp delete old lion partition, install snow leopard , clean install of windows 7 pro. before re-installed new operating systems windows partition worked fine , recognized 5870 gpu. fresh install did of windows 7 cannot install gpu drivers. every time try install appropriate drivers tells me "we unable find driver system. no supported amd hardware detected. under display in directx diagnostic tool says "standard vga graphics adapter". in cpuid hwmonitor shows ati radeon hd 5870 doesn't give temp reading or other info clocks (graphics/memory). i've tried replacing card nividia gtx560ti, works on windows partition fine when restart , hold alt select mac os blank screen. guessing snow leopard doesn't support fermi cards? i've been searching other forums , tried few things, non of scenarios of fixes pertain hardware. i'm date windows updates well. if has solution sing songs future children , proudly pledge allegiance mac genius. has offer!

edit: have 1tb x 2 hd's snow leopard on 1 hard drive , windows 7 pro on other.

the reason why screen stays black when have gtx 560 ti in because mac pros need video cards have mac compatible efi firmware. without it, screen remain black until os x , video drivers loaded. more info regarding this, please check this thread.
