Additional System Resource For Full Disk Encryption

hello all,

i'm running late 2013 mbp 15" 2.6ghz i7 16 gb of ram , 2 gb of vram. whole line of machines featured updated pci-e ssd.

i'm not running apple's full disk encryption on machine solely due concerns of system resource usage. given first paragraph, concerns unnecessary?

run pretty intensive photoshop , illustrator sessions on near-daily basis. other that, firefox , chrome (almost @ same time), thunderbird , few ssbs. rest of stuff can think of pretty easy on resources.

well, appreciate wants chime in personal experiences or educated guesses!

you not notice difference on machine. give this look.
