SMC Payloads And locked EFI's in El Capitan


you heard here.

have apple developers account , shocked looking @ install esd el capitan there 2 folders made me concerned.

1. smc payload: contains smc firmware update macintosh computer.

weird considering no other mac os x version sense tiger has required smc update ever in order run.

1 made me worried.

efi payload: these locked efi's installed on computer.

no offense makes me concerned apple might deciding on locking out machines can't go backwards maverick or yosemite.
 

might patch efi issue reported earlier month

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
