External Render Boxes...


so i've been working on these quite time...

lots of ands downs in trying these work....
apple knocking off ability run more 2 external nvidia gpu's in 10.10. on @ creativecow people cubix & netstor expansion chassis limited 2 nvidia in total , running ati display.

going use splitter box connect 1 pcie slot feed 3, here when problems came... 3 cards total recognised had have mac efi.. otherwise 1 internal gpu , 1 external showing up... , coinciding reports @ creativecow.

reason created these fact in desperate need render power , neat solution.. hate cables , mess on desk.. , don't have money spend on nestor , cubix etc..

don't consider these replacement such units gpgpu progressing , hate pc's think viable solution anyone.

if interested in them let me know...

allow 3 external cards , standard atx psu.
can run 1, 2 or cards simultaneously.
2 standard 120mm fans airflow.

renderboxes not expansion chassis require available pcie slot every card want run externally.

tell me guys think????

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
