The "New MacBook - My Review

so here ladies , gentlemen. would've thought many years ago computers small. blown away original macbook air , thought couldn't thinner, did. now, know many companies have been making super-slim windows laptops few years now, have seen, sold , owned few , have hated them all.

have owned rmb pro 3 years , began replacement, when apple introduced 12" macbook. smaller, lighter, retina display, similar battery life , in different colors. whole 1 port thing did throw me off, wanted it. waited out , got opportunity buy one. have owned of 24 hours now, have put through rounds.

first things first, laptop, netbook, franken-ipad? should carry macbook name, airs pretty twin, rmb pros smaller brother, it? well, it's of above. has little bits , pieces of mentioned above. know carries core m processor, , it's small form factor has surely limited battery life, real world experience like?

lets start saying thing absolutely gorgeous. mean honestly, there nothing out there can think of can (as far laptop concerned.) opted space gray since own sg watch , iphone 6 , absolutely stunning at. slim profile, rounded edges , relatively small size grab attention.

looks out of way, convinced machine meant used regular every day basic-intermediate users laptop. not in video editing , running multiple desktops can put strain on it. however, if regular user me lot of web browsing, writing, researching , carries laptop around lot, guy.

core m , integrated 5300 graphics put test , noticeable when you're doing cpu intensive work. also, retina display, things can bit choppy time time. nothing interferes on regular basis, still noticeable. play 1080p video well, if it's being sent apple tv while browse web on macbook itself.

if begin @ 1 of handicaps can find weakness. yes, i'm talking usb-c port. it's 1 , usb-c port. don't plug in lot of devices computers, tend use mac charge iphone or apple watch (or both) left scrambling last night find wall outlets charge them in meantime. accessories out there, , if @ items besides made apple, won't break bank @ all. however, 1 port, put bit of tug of war. usb-c 3-5 usb adapter, usb hdmi dongle or charge macbook?

1 solution saw online neat little device expands 1 port multiple ports. gives sd card reader, multiple usb ports, mini display port , doubles battery pack can charge macbook or external devices. downfall? it's still in kickstarter stage , won't ship until october. guess buying above adapters separately in meantime, , figuring out charging part later.

if using 1 port, battery life adequate , stated before, same rmb pro. keep in mind though, coming form late-2012 rmb pro. 9.5 - 10 hours on regular basis on thing, , i'm @ expected 10 hours battery life type review 87% battery left. if comes lower old rmb pro can it's way better battery life you'll windows counterparts. had samsung didn't muster out 6.5 hours before crying charger.

in all, new macbook awesome ipad replacement, or regular macbook replacement, latter being heavily based on use for. machine no screamer, no slouch. works wonderfully day day tasks, gets amazing battery life, looks great , compact enough fit anywhere.

however, price tag of $1300, unless want super compact laptop, i'd go rmb pro , call day....

note: i'm sure many wondering new keyboard , touchpad on macbook. far keyboard concerned, still trying used it. having spent past 3 years typing on old style keys, turning out lot harder used thought. haven't lost typing speed, noticing hands getting tired rather easily. i'm not sure why, may associated fact have force fingers type lightly since there isn't travel in these new keys.

trackpad, haven't made use of whole "force" touch thing. maybe time goes on more use out of it, other track pad on mac. 1 thing trip me out realizing pad isn't moving, it's vibrating trick me is. turn off vibration, , begin question else in life...
