Cannot Format Internal SSD to GUID Extended Journaled.


i can't format new internal ssd guid partition scheme mac os extended(journaled) master boot works fine. when try, sticks @ 'waiting disks reappear'. have tried first erasing drive results in similar error sticks @ half way through progress bar , time remaining continues increase. have booted usb running yosemite, internet recovery, usb installer drive , none have made difference when comes formatting. drive master boot record , functioning (verified). next step usb sata connector , try format drive externally using different mac. have feeling won't fix problem desperate. have access pc , mac if there solution using pc format first use internally main drive in mbp mid 2012. appreciated.

in disk utility select drive on left hand menu, select partition, in partition layout, choose amount of partitions want (i.e. if want 1 partition select 1), @ bottom click on options, , give choice of guid etc

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
