Disk Utility restore function alternative using terminal?


i'm trying make script automate things erasing usb stick , restoring dmg file it. i've found command erase usb stick ("diskutil erasedisk jhfs+ untitled disk2"). haven't found similar restoring dmg file stick.

i'm thinking involved mounting dmg using hdiutil , using dd?

can help? thanks

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
