10.10.5 killed Bluetooth?

hi all,

see few people have mentioned i'll chip in too. updated 10.10.5 , on reboot bluetooth functionality on imac has died. icon has wiggly line through , says "not available". no bluetooth devices found in preferences. i've trashed bluetooth plist file , reset smc , pram still no bluetooth. how hell apple put out os update kills bluetooth? working 100% before 10.10.5. change os update. i'm fuming. no gestures on mouse or now.

other ideas on how fix without taking apple store? not easy lug 27" imac huge shopping centre.

download , install combined 10.10.5 updater. can here: https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1832

fix used of time os x has existed, when os x goes wonky after delta update.
should going again.

if not make bluetooth devices available, reinstall yosemite.
