2012 Retina MacBook Pro heating up uncomfortably

my 2012 retina macbook pro having heat issues , wondering if it's can fix replacing battery.
battery showing needs serviced , although computer quite old now, shouldn't having heat while running chrome , few other apps.

guys think? replacing battery solve issue? or requires replacing computer?

unlikely, you're going have elaborate on "heat issues." temperature sensors reporting? isn't issue if computer operating, in case.

however, if battery needs serviced should replaced anyway unless you're fine using computer desktop.
