MacBook 2010 OS Re-Install


hi,

own macbook 2010 [ uncle ].
tried re-install os [ lion ].
did "recovery hd" erasing hard drive first , going re-install os x recovery hd.
prompted enter appstore login details in order download os.
don't have appstore login details used on macbook cannot install recovery hd.
tried enter appstore account says "this item not available right now" [ think need buy or ].

tried download yosemith or mavericks free os install.
version: 10.10.4 yosemite
burned on usb , made bootable tutorials none of them worked.
when plug usb , press "alt" boot options popup when start mac, see usb shows question mark icon says doesnt recognize boot able device.

i'm pretty stuck here because don't have other solution..
tried purchase new lion license i'm israel , sell online united states.

thank help!
 

have tried cmd-r see if gives option reinstall?

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
