Unzipped File Gone, But Still Taking Up Tons of Space


i unzipped large file (the .zip 3 gb, unzipped on 8 gb), , unzipped file just...doesn't exist, still taking same amount of space on computer, though can't see it. of course know unzip same folder, it's not there. checked home folder, it's not there. searched file name that's same 1 .zip file, , comes .zip file. need wake in 5 hours work , need file work, , i'm getting desperate.

have 2010 macbook pro 13" running 10.9.5

edit: also, have show hidden files checked, if hidden, i'd able see it.
 

zip -sf <zipfile> list archive file names , path names. i'm betting files extracted relative path , you're not looking in there, , extracted files have different file names archive name.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
