What is safest between these two batteries?


hi,

have old macbook pro 2006 act server @ remote location, without me being around long time.

laptop doesn't have battery , want have one, in case there power outage split second.

concerns safety-related. don't want catch fire after prolonged period of time.

have choice between:
-a new non-genuine battery on ebay
-a used genuine battery lasts 20 minutes


of these options safest, given battery never used, since connected wall?
 

i guess answer question safest go whatever genuine. wouldn't purchase such poor quality battery though.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
