Why did you buy a Mac Pro? (particular not in photography/film)


i’m curious why people (particular not in photography/film) have purchased mac pro?

i’m student in cs , macbook pro no longer cutting duel monitor setup. lot of:
  • putzing around internet
  • online tutorials
  • programing in sublime, xcode
  • casey neistat vlog watching (youtube)
  • often connected additionally 50inch tv
  • duel boot windows , mac osx dev builds
  • gaming (mc, starcraft, simcity)

thinking getting low end (4 core) mac pro basestation 4+ years , have macbook restored , setup class since doesn’t support me in full glory anymore.

i’m genuinely curious if me (a semi intensive user, student) owns mac pro , why? think machine last me long time therefore worth investment, have no experience in caliber

i'll honest.
i'm apple fanboy, money burn. i.e. dual income no kids. (dink).
daunting tasks, contributing seti@home, notice, #1 macrumors.com setiathome team - dual d700 , 6 xeon cores.

have owned powermac g5 dual core 2.3ghz, mac pro (3,1), macbookpro (original core duo), macbookpro (9,1), powerbook g4, made sense mac pro 6,1.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
