AEBS Challenges with Cisco Phone and VPN


i'm not sure if aebs incompatibility issue cisco ip phones or relating circuit quality sure use guidance on topic.

i've been working on last year our department, trying consistent performance on verizon fios. fios fantastic when i'm not having vpn in work or use cisco dx650 phone.

phone initiates own vpn session connect our voice gateway , vpn mba office. phone typically looses connectivity part of way through call , drops completely, afterwards resetting itself. though reaches sort of retransmit buffer overload , resets vpn sluggish throughput after been while dropping vpn connection , reestablishing vpn seems make things quicker.

moved , old house had same verizon fios plan; 75/75 , pretty performance, typically around 75+mb down, 75+mb up, little no packet loss, ~15ms latency , <4ms jitter, not bad actually.

has seen before and/or can offer suggestions, recommendations?

is mba connected via ethernet behind cisco phone? or via wifi?

i'm ten years removed networking days, issue surely isn't in network speed/latency, rather, seems it's in firewall/route problem. fios provide primary router?... if so, can make cisco phone dmz , try it?... or, turn off routers firewall , test same issue happens during set time period?

if see dmz option, think that's best bet.

--- sorry, i'm not familiar verizon's fios routers more clearly. posting snapshots might help.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
