Could an Apple Script/Automator extract AVCHD video files from my memory card? (details in thread)

bear me here... got new sony rx100 iii compact camera shoots avchd video reason boffins @ sony have decided bury video files deep within obscure folder structure it's pain in ass access , extract files after every shoot.

basically, access 1 of avchd format video files (let's call 'myvideo.mts'), have browse memorycard > private > avchd > bdmv > stream > myvideo.mts. extended file structure made more difficult fact os x views folders 'avchd' , 'bdmv' packages, meaning each of steps, have right-click , 'view package contents'. slowing me down every time, i'm wondering if there's easy way via script of sort insert memory card, click 1 button or icon (like script drag onto finder toolbar) , have open related folder?

thought of automator action cut/copy files needed out of folder, doesn't give me options because might, instance, have several days' footage on memory card , want 1 day's footage.

got ideas??
