Heart rate monitor question

i see lots of people mentioning low values...has had explained high values 200 bpm? have gotten 2 random measurements , measurement before , after normal. think notice if hr 200 bpm right? or need call doc now....

i don't far off - , things fine. negative experiences can divided 2 categories.

first happened once. cycling , pushing hill. hr 144. backed off, though still going uphill , not steep. after 20 seconds of this, checked hr , said 76 ! no way low. after seconds, got more rational numbers. 1 time error other checks when exercising seem logical.

other when doing normal heart check. watch checks every 10 minutes, if go glance hr, first show results of it's last check , tell how long ago (1-10 minutes, guess). start calculating present hr.

here's thing. know many prior tests if i'm sitting awhile or lying down, resting hr going in 50's (sometimes upper 40's.

quite few times hr gives me x minutes ago above - in 80's , once, when woke in morning, said 107 !!!

, calculates present rate , in 50's again. never has given me surprising number fresh calculation , when earlier calculation doesn't seem correct, high.

maybe, sake of research, others check figures sometimes. easy enough do, results more meaningful if know numbers should be. , checking when rested easier evaluate rather after exerting yourself.

might no related issue, maybe is.
