PowerBook G4 Aluminum Latch Issues(Internal)


ok, little while ago, cleaning gunk off of powerbook using 97% rubbing alcohol, , cleaned latch button. rubbing alcohol dissolved glue holding assembly onto front of frame. there prongs rest against bottom pan casing, , taped down wouldn't spring back. issue tape not hold well. latch button progressively moving back. ordered parts of know, powerbook coming apart sometime week. wondering if should replace original glue super glue or use else. thanks! sorry bad explanation, it's hard without pictures , such. if clarification needed, can draw diagrams or something.
 

i not entirely sure referencing. there small clip inside of latch pulls down magnetic hook , engages latch.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
