lloyds bank has sent email customers notify them begin supporting apple pay "very soon" contactless payments debit , credit cards , in-app purchases. transactions limited £20 @ retailers in united kingdom, retailers may allow larger purchases.

lloyds bank has been listed under "coming soon" section on apple pay page in united kingdom quite time, bank has not provided more specific launch date beyond telling customers aiming "autumn" through twitter support account.

apple pay launched in u.k. on july 13 , accepted @ more 250,000 locations across england, scotland, wales , northern ireland. participating banks have activated service include first direct, hsbc, mbna, nationwide, natwest, royal bank of scotland, santander , ulster bank.
