iMac (mid-2007) having problems


my main machine 24" imac 7,1 , fans have started after boot , within 30 minutes screen goes out. @ point computer no operable, i've tried remote network connections , nothing.

ran apple diagnostics on , got code: 4sns/40000000: tgoh.

last 4 letters there tell story temperature sensor on gpu. worth buying new gpu , installing it? run around $250 , don't know if care. time 5k right? riiight???? ;)
 

not worth it. imac 8 years old , outdated. have mid 2007 imac 20.5" myself upgraded couple years ago ssd & ram. should fail on now, replace instead of investing money it. surprised if $250 mine. if can afford new one, may time consider it.

[SOLVED] SFOTT usb key not bootable Mavericks
