Photos unwelcome popping up

hello,
got 2 identical imacs, 1 retina , 1 not, both identical osx , apps.

when connect sony camera non-retina one, correctly usb-mounted 3 devices.
however, when connect camera retina imac, photos pops up, don't want.
can not find preference prevent behaviour.

click expand...

click 'import' tab on photos.

towards left-hand side (underneath close/maximise traffic light system), you'll see sony device listed. untick the option 'open photos device'.

prevent auto-opening app in future when connect camera.
