i created previous thread 15" mbp (late '13 model) running hot , horrid battery life in windows 10. looks it's narrowed down discrete graphics mbp uses , window's inability switch integrated , draw less power osx can do. i'm curious know if else has later gen mbp discrete graphics , running windows 10. if so, what's battery in windows 10?   i have exact same macbook you. i've noticed when running windows 7 vs yosemite. battery wasn't , laptop hotter. believe it's said in windows there no way disable discrete graphics card. os x more efficient. programs running on battery? using chrome? did update windows 10, haven't used on battery yet. use gaming plugged in. i'll see how mine running on battery , you.   Forums Macs Windows, Linux &

i plugged usb-c usb-a cable new macbook imac , while i'm using macbook, battery indicator has little lightning bolt indicating it's charging. if click icon, says "battery not charging" under says "power source: power adapter." figured since using power adapter power, may not charging battery @ least not draining it. while using (a few hours) battery level dropped 70% 40%. heard people saying macbook can charge/not drain battery hooked imac or ipad/iphone power adapter? don't need charge, nice if use power source , not dip battery while work during day. able figure out solution this, of course other using power adapter intended macbook?   there whole thread on page, updated today or yesterday topic. in short, imac isn't going provide enough usb power charge while macbook in use. charge if shut down. can use ipad or other similar 2.1 amp+ charger fine.

hello guys, have iphone 4s 8gb working on ios 7.1.2 . have been using 1 year already. when i'm surfing internet using phone, 1-2% of battery life lost per 2 minutes. if i'm playing games or run applications, 1% drained minute. example, battery life on 22% when started playing angry birds space, after 19 minutes of playing battery life on 7%. 15% drained in 19 minutes! i'm interested if usual iphone 4s on ios 7.1.2 or battery of phone has problems. please tell me how batteries work , how many percentages lose per minute. appreciate help, in advance   no that's not normal. 4s got bad reputation battery life, in experience that's far justified. if you're little sensible (background app refresh off, location off apps don't need it, screen brightness, transparency, motion, bluetooth, auto updates, stop running down battery 0 every time, etc) should able 6 7 hours of normal use
