i have 5s, has been happening while now, @ least last 6-8 months, periodically. take quick vertical pic (whether lock screen, or launching camera app), , when view in photos, orientation horizontal. when i'm viewing took it, see if horizontal pic viewed vertically (small rectangle pic in middle black boxes @ top , bottom, , pic sideways). obviously, if turn phone horizontally, orients pic full screen, have tilt head sideways view correctly. it's fixed me going edit , rotating vertical. shouldn't have that, if taking pics properly. didn't spend full pop on 5s when came out, have work half arse. note, has happened when take horizontal pic, oriented vertical when viewed in photos. have happen them? what's reason? there "simple" fix? i've done couple of updates since started happening (once having install ios scratch, along apps...pain in ass!), , it's still happening. don't think updating latest version goin

hopefully others. searched both forums here , google , kept getting same answers "select hid device options". having figured out, thought i'd share: after have keyboard, magic mouse, or trackpad connected go windows install usb drive created when went through bootcamp process under os x, , dig down drivers->apple , run application obvious (for trackpad, keyboard, or whatever). fixes , you'll have functional peripheral. after installs you'll popup like, "are sure installed correctly?" click on, "yes, installed correctly." drivers down in directories bootcamp aren't normal windows drivers (.inf files) they're actual executables need run set things up. note: think trackpad did require me go properies (in bluetooth add devices dialog, right click on trackpad, before adding, go properies, check 1 box like, "this mouse or device") in order connect via bluetooth. hope helps. took me few days f

i have time capsule time machine backups great, painfully slow in using kind of file sharing across machines, when trying copy files it. nas solution such mycloud mirror faster option? slowness of time capsules have been issue apparently, when doing initial large backup on new mac or pc. in advance!   not faster compared time capsule internal drive if any. have synology nas , current generation time capsule , both slow, tc little faster in benchmarks. usb drive plugged in slower, thats same nas. using wired ethernet instead of wireless makes big difference. file transfers mini server (attached raid0 array) on twice fast either synology or tc. don't use apple approved product time machine destination. there lot of vendors claiming support , there have been many have had luck, many not much. use ccc instead.   Forums

i have 5.1 system logitech connected macbook pro through sound blaster omni surround 5.1. setup correct because audio test performed sb omni control panel activates correctly each speaker individually. same audio midi setup utility in mac os x: configured output 5.1 sound , activates correctly each speaker during test. far good. problem when play movie dvd or itunes, has 5.1 sound, have stereo output. affects both dvd player , itunes in 2 machines, 1 under snow leopard , 1 under yosemite. tried open dvd vlc , says system audio not configured 5.1 sound , have through audio midi setup. configured correctly, therefore, reason, mac os x applications fail see setting. of course if enable sbx pro studio enhancements in sb omni control panel have audio speakers if understand well, enhancement, kind of simulated surround sound. @ point ran out of ideas. suggestions, solutions? thanks!   movies encod
