i have terrible battery life on iphone 6 running ios 8.4.1. can see in screenshot, die after 10 hours. safari uses 55% of battery, despite quite light usage. safari average 40% battery usage in "last 7 days" tab. usage 50%+ of standby is. (pardon swedish) things have tried haven't worked far: – reset safari – turned off safari reading list, , deleted in it – changed icloud passwords – turned off location services & background refresh – turned off icloud on phone few days, no change – had whole phone replaced (due clicking screen issue) once. – full reset , restore backup – full reset without restoring backup, set new phone. couldn't believe didn't solve it! thing work if manually close safari in multitasking view, , use chrome instead. chrome uses fair amount of cpu gets me through day. i've done few months , don't chrome go safari. advice on try next – feel i've literally tried everything!

(tl;dr @ bottom) today tried revert public beta yosemite on 2015 15" rmbp, 1 in signature. did using time machine use backups. made critical error, did not stop el capitan backing same time machine backup had previous backups of yosemite on. when attempted restore yosemite today using backups did not work correctly. shows me many different backups going normal days you'd expect , lists os x versions on of them el capitan (the newest backups) , yosemite (the older ones). naturally selected yosemite entries because el capitan had backed same time machine volume. had altered of file indexes, making incompatible yosemite. when restored , logged in, 50% of files not present. itunes library, documents, many folders, application settings etc gone. restored 2 more times, once recovery mode (cmd+r on bootup) , once migration assistant , both resulted in same problem. tried open time machine in yosemite using normal time machine interface recover

so...i tried adding new song halsey, "new americana" music iphone , won't stay. never falls under "recently added". shows on whatever playlist put in short bit of time before disappearing. tried adding library itunes on mac , doesn't show @ all. instead makes of music selections cloud unselectable. little cloud icon lightning bolt in middle. of course, when press cloud icon of music returns solid selectable state, song i'm trying add library still won't show up. else having issues this?   i think because track hasn't been released yet - can play on beats 1, not available buy or stream until released. not sure if coming out single, on new album due out on 17 july, should available 17th. didn't know her, heard on zane's show other day , love it. sounds bit lana del rey.   Forums
